TPC Foundation, Inc.

 

Founded in 1997, the TPC Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides educational assistance and training to minority students. 

 

Through collaborations with educational and business institutions, and on-the-job assignments, the program provides a network of developmental and financial assistance to aid students in becoming more competitive and in continuing their educational pursuits.

At the same time, we are embracing the technology-driven world of message delivery. We are embracing the shifts in technology and psychology as well as the robust and growing readership – across all age groups and demographic profiles – of digitally delivered magazines and online collaboration networks.

 

SmartStart Youth Financial Literacy Progam


TPC Foundation, Inc. (TPC) developed the SmartStart youth financial literacy program to change the way minority youth view wealth. Through the program, students learn the key to financial responsibility and to make responsible financial decisions and the importance of investing in their community and the next generation.

 

Urban Business Summit and Expo

 

Building on the 10-year history of the African American Business Summit, the Turning Point Urban Business Summit & Expo brings together diverse urban businesses, corporate partners and thought leaders in an environment that fosters new business development, skills enhancement and resource sharing.

 

College Internship Program


The College Internship Program provides educational assistance and training to minority students through the College Internship Program. The program assists minority college students, particularly from under-served communities, in gaining practical experience and professional instruction in the field of communications, specifically in the areas of journalism, publishing, public relations, and graphic design.

 

Through collaborations with educational and business institutions, and on-the-job assignments, the program provides a network of developmental and financial assistance to aid students in becoming more competitive and in continuing their educational pursuits.
